I am the daughter of an 80 year old widow that was contacted by a sales person in March 2007 who told her they wanted to help her with getting her prescriptions for less. They told her that they had her information and just needed to verify the information which she innocently did. They said she would receive her information packet in the mail in a few days. No money was discussed. She did not receive the information packet in the mail but they did electronically debit her bank account on 4/13/07 in the amount of $389.00 with the payee being Blec-Med Provisions. We contacted the company with the only phone number we had which was on the bank debit 866-590-3900. They said if we would return the packet they would refund her money. We told them we had not received an information packet. They said it would be there in the next 10-15 days. We did get the packet, did not open it as they requested, and mailed it back certified mail. July 30th we recieved the packet back again (same one) with the certified mail card that was attached on the front gone we have not received a refund for the 389.00 they promised if we sent the information packet back. But we did have another electronic debit on her bank account again on 6/18/2007 for $364.95 (very smart to change the amount a few dollars in case there is a stop payment for the first amount) only this time they had the payee as Medical Benefits P O Box 53423 Akron Ohio 44308 tel:123454-2578. I called the phone number, a women with a foreign accent answered and said that they were a company hired by the payee to only take complaints. The phone numbers she gave me for the company she was taking complaints for are both disconnected 1-866-819-7692 and 1-865-262-8283. I will be going to the bank on Monday to see the endorsements on the back of the debits to see who deposited them and close out my mothers account. As of this date we have not had a good phone number to contact any one and have not recieved any money back. I am sickened by people who prey on elderly, people on fixed incomes and take advantage of them for their own gain. I will scream from the rooftops the names of the people and companies who make fraudulent charges on the elderly's bank accounts until they stop. God will be the final judge.

AUTHOR: The Daughter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 01, 2007

I have been contacted by the postal inspector in Ft. Worth Texas, Mr. Brown, because a letter I wrote to this company was sent to a bogus post office box and was intercepted by the law. The individual pulling this scam has been identified and any information about any other victims please submit to the department and inspector mentioned above.
