Medallion Financial Corp. Medallion Financial Corp took nearly 800 dollars as a "Loan Insurance Cost", I never recieved my loan and was told "I'm never getting my money back." New York New York

I was contacted by Medallion Financial Corp by a gentelman by the name of Timothy Mott. He told me that I qualified for a 5000 loan but needed Loan Insurance in order to secure the loan. I sent 750.00 dollars via Western Union to Optima Insurance in Canda to a Kurtis Blake. I was told my loan would be in my account within hours. Of course, the loan was never recieved. They did tell me that I could apply for a refun, which of course I did. I applied for the refund nearly two weeks ago, have no recieved anything yet. They have been unprofessional, and verbally abusive, making such comments as, "You will never see your money." They then told me the man that made this comment was "relieved from his job with Medallion Financial." However I called the "Headquarters" of Medallion Financial in NY, NY and they told me that they did not do personal loans and they do not have any branch locations on 40 Broad Street.
