On July 2011; we obtained financing with Medchoice to secure a loan for our daughter's boarding school; a behaviorial center in MO. We were referred to Medchoice by Clark Behaviorial Center.
We secured a 50K+ loan at 72 months with 12.99% even though we had perfect credit. Medchoice began deducting our checking account via ACH debit immediately. Flash forward to Nov 2011; we have been notified by the school facility that no payments have been received on the loan from Medchoice
11-11-2011- I called Bill on his cell phone and discussed the situation and he has reassured me that the loan can be cancelled and that monies paid on the account will be refunded next week.
11-11-2011: I have been informed by a source that Medchoice began doing business with Clark on January 2011. Starting in April of this year; Clark was notified that Medchoice was not making payments on any of the 90 said applications they refferrred to Medchoice.
11-11-2011: Bill tells me that the fault is on Clark because they took their referral fees out too soon and that Medchoice has a pending lawsuit with Clark. My problem is that whether or not Clark took fees is irrevelant because they supplied documents to Clark showing abundant funds...fees should leave them broke and inable to pay loans.
When Clark financial approached Medchoice (Bill personally) that no payments are happening, Clark was assured everything would be processed and resolved
So as of April, even though both Clark and Medchoice knew of default payments - both facilities continued to broker/refer/accept applications for additional loans
This is something very scary. I welcome the opportunity to discuss this with other potential victims

11/28/2011 Have only received (1) month debit refund along with a 500.00 deposit. I am still owed over 3K. Email to Bill Doniger over the weekend requesting information about my full refund has been unanswered
12:28PM 866-397-7159
As of today; I called customer service about my loan whose number I found on www.medchoicefinancial.com and they tell you to call WFNB at 866-397-7159. I began speaking to a Lisa at WFNB who was not only confused why I would be calling them but who could not find anything on my loan in the system. The more information I gave her; she wanted me to speak to a supervisor. She had also mentioned that I should call 561-952-1760 to which I informed her is a number that is a generic phone number and voice mail. Both Connie (x207) and Bill (aka William Doniger) never answer or return calls
12:31PM I am placed on hold so that Lisa can talk to a supervisor after giving exact details of the William Doniger and Connie situation and begin mentioning other cases that are similar to mine.
12:37PM Talking Tami a supervisor: She states that I need to call 800-358-8980, who says they terminated their financial agreement with Medchoice last year and do not work with them any longer. 12:42 PM This new number is a generic voice mail and actually tells you to call 561-952-1755 which is also Perform Finance and Premier Finance. Choosing any of the numbered options on this line just gives you voice mail again. (all of the voice mails are Michael) I also note that there was a lawsuit between Medchoice and WFNB not to long ago.

Thank you for the helpful information. We too were scammed by MedChoice. We received a letter in Apr 2012 stating we would receive a refund but we have yet to see a dime. Filed complaints with FTC, BBB, and Consumer Assistance.

This company Medchoice, and its principals are horrible people. They have been ripping off consumers and other brokers for years. I think the large bank they were dealing with finally got wise and shut them off. Now they are trying to sue the bank, when it is the fault of management, including Michael Naturile, that MedChoice failed as a company. We sent them a few deals and NEVER got paid. I hope they lost everything for treating people so badly. I am sorry so many people were hurt by this company.

If you applied for the loan over the internet, I also suggest that you contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), which is a combined effort of the National White Collar Crime Center and the FBI to combat Internet fraud.
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
I encourage you to work with your bank to find out about the possibility of having the charges reversed under Federal Regulation "E". If your bank is a member of the National Automated Clearing House Rules Association, that organization's rules permit the reversal of any unauthorized automated clearinghouse transaction if reported within sixty days after the transaction. More information is available online at:
http://www.nacha.org
Another potential resource of assistance may be the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services (DACS). DACS serves as the clearinghouse for consumer complaints and has a voluntary mediation program to assist individual consumers. You may contact DACS at:
Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Consumer Services 2005 Apalachee Parkway Tallahassee, Florida 32399 Telephone: (850) 488-2221 Toll-free within FL: (800) 435-7352 Website: http://www.800helpfla.com/
You may also wish to contact the following consumer organizations:
Federal Trade Commission Toll-free: (877) 382-4357 Website: http://www.ftc.gov
Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida (serving Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach areas) Phone: (561) 842-1918 Email: info@wpbbb.com Website: http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/
Palm Beach County Consumer Protection Office Phone: (561) 712-6600 Website: http://www.pbcgov.com/publicsafety/consumeraffairs/
Finally, Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act provides individuals with a private remedy to bring an action for damages, attorney's fees and court costs. You may wish to consider consulting a private attorney for any legal guidance you may need. If you need help finding a lawyer, The Florida Bar offers a Lawyer Referral Service which you may contact toll-free at (800) 342-8060.
