Media Outsourcing-AU ripped-off college student Maryland

I recieved a call this morning congratulating me on getting entered into this sweepstake. The lady offered me a diamond watch of either men's or lady's style and a free subscription to 3 magazines. All I had to pay was $.3.85 a week and they were all mine.. She said her supervisior would call me back with details.

He called about 7 mins later and asked which watch style I would like, and asked which magazines I would like. I asked him prior to answering if I could cancel my subscription at any time, and he replied "of course, whenever you'd like".

So I foolishly gave him my debit number and he let me know afterwards that he was charging me for 48months in advance and that it would be evenly divided by 12 months. This came to $66.65 a month. I was extremely upset and asked what happened to the cancel at anytime, and he said it was after a year's worth of payments (which is four years total).

So I confronted him about the question I asked earlier and he said, well why would you want to cancel. So he then found out I was a college student, and said, "oh i'll give you the college discount" which turned out to be $49 dollars a month. Then he got off the phone saying I was the nicest person he's dealt with all day (yeah right).

So I looked at my online bank statement, and they have already taken out the $66.65 plus an additional $49 and now I have $4 to my name. I am beyond hurt and appalled, and embarassed to have been so naive. Thanx a bunch Media Outsourcing.
