Mediacom Hired Mlaskoch to pull their cable under our driveway, Mlaskoch hired another sub to do the work in 2003. during the install they buckled driveway, their solution was to tamp it down and sealcoat, it looked ok, but, now the area that they disturbed has settled and driveway has cracked and sunk in that area.
We had a driveway company make reccomendation on repair and we were told it neede to be replaced due to the fact that the class 5 substrate was disturbed and the only way to guarantee no future problems is to replace driveway. Mlaskoch has admitted fault but will only repair bad area and sealcoat again with no future guarantee. They said that it should not even be on them because the subcontractor does not work for them anymore. We have tried to work this out all summer but have got nothing more than red tape!!
