Sober Medical Solutions is a big scam as it pretends to be something that doesnt exist, a silver bullet. This people like passages of malibu, want to create hype by making highly controversial statements on their radio and other types of advertizements. They know that by making outrageous claims, they will draw attention to themselves. Addiction is NOT primarily a medical issue. It has way too many dynamics for any one discipline to claim that it has a monopoly on the solution. shame on these scammers for trying to take advantadge of the vulnerable families.
I would keep my loved ones and my money as fay away from these people as possible.

while I agree that true addiction requires a life long intensive program and it is not a simple problem that can be solved in ten minutes, not all pain pill addiction is necessarily a true "addiction". Many people can become physically dependent while being treated for chronic pain, but not addicted in the spiritual, physical and mental sense. The distinction is important. Dr Lai is working with people on the former problem. Not everyone who becomes temporarily dependent on pain medicine needs AA or NA, just like not everyone who gets a DUI requires AA. Or at least not long term. It looks to me like the person who filed this claim went off half cocked and needs to take a step back. I personally know Dr Lai and he is far from a scam artist. P
