This location of Meineke did my last oil change.  On 10-30-09 I had oil-related car trouble.  Had the car towed to my mechanic.  They discovered the oil filter threads were loose and the filter was "hanging"; it was the wrong filter for my car.  That's why the oil I was pouring in, attempting to fix the car trouble, was pouring right out, unbeknownst to me.

I informed Scott, the franchise owner, of all this information the day it occurred.  He asked to be allowed to tow my car to his shop for inspection.  I authorized it.  They (he and Allen, who claimed to be in charge when Scott wasn't there, which was most of the time) then proceeded to put me off, dodge my calls, and not return my calls for a full 6 days, when I decided to stop in the shop to get some response. 

Scott was defensive, denied any responsibility, blamed me because I drove the car when it was having trouble, and essentially called my mechanic a liar by saying the oil filter my mechanic took from the car couldn't possibly have fit on the car and certainly wouldn't have stayed on for 4 months, which it had.

I asked him to at least tow my car back to my mechanic, where he had towed it from.  He refused to do even that until he "heard from corporate." I demanded corporate's info from him and left them a message this morning.  It's been 5 hours with no response from corporate. 

They are essentially holding my car hostage (I'll have to pay to have it towed back to my mechanic) while wasting my time and money (paying rental car fees) and absolutely refusing to help me or take any responsibility whatsoever.
