Meinike Rip Off ans Sales Fraud Amarillo, Texas

My wife's car has really squeaky brakes in the rear. We have taken it to Sears before and they said nothing was wrong, brake pads were good. SO we kind of just dealt with it. Well, today we took it to Meinike because my wife just couldn't take the noise anymore. When we got there, we explained what was wrong and that it was coming from the rear. They did their "free brake inspection" and told us the brake pads were still good, but they were beveled and that was what is causing the noise. The manager (Dennis) asked me if I wanted to replace the brakes. He quoted me a price and I thought it was a good price so I agreed. Well 30 minutes later he comes back and says we should replace the rear ones as well.

Wait... what? I thought when you said "do you want to replace the brakes" I figured he meant ALL of the brakes. Turns out the price he gave me was for the front only. The REAR brakes were squeaking. SO he wanted to charge me double. We didn't go with that option, and I asked him if they had gotten very far with the work on the front brakes, because I wanted them to stop and we were going to leave. He said they were "almost done". They finished an hour later. So he lied about that. They were also supposed to rotate the tires, and they didn't do that either. We know because one the rims has a blemish and it is still on the front left of the car, as it was before. 

So now we still have squeaky brakes and are out a couple hundred dollars.

While I sat there, 6 different people came in to get an oil change. ALL 6 people were told during their oil change that they had an oil leak. They were all quoted prices between $140 and $600. What are the chances that all 6 of those people had an oil leak and did not know about it? Only one of those people said "Yea I know, I see the spots on my driveway." They're just making up problems to get more money.

When I called to complain, the manager Dennis called me stupid, yelled at me, and said he didn't care. This is not how you run a business and I am just hoping that whoever reads this takes my advice and DOES NOT GO TO MEINEKE ON WESTERN IN AMARILLO. Even for an oil change.
