I want to report on a scam that I find to just be awful and inhumane. My aunt and uncle just had to put their beloved yorkie of 16 years down due to illness.
They were given information for a woman that has teacup yorkies for reasonable pricing When I found out they were going to be flying to the east coast from Spokane Washington for the sale of a puppy, the first thing I thought was SCAM!
Well, sadly, my thought came to fruition this morning. I am sorry to report it was definitely an out and out scam. They tried calling Melanie last night and this morning, the phone number came up no longer in service. The info they were given is listed below and I am hoping that someone reading this may have some information for us. We are also going through Western Union which is how they paid. They were scammed out of $1300.00.
This is the fake puppy peddlers information:
Melanie Wills
(awful using Jesus' name to gain trust when your intention is shear evil)
509-537-0481 and used the name of PET TRANSPORT SERVICE also within correspondence
