DO NOT become one of Melissa's many victims by coming out of pocket or incurring expenses and don't expect to be paid for work you do for her. She makes promises and doesn't deliver.

- Melissa Broadway can be found attached to several different names from her time thus far in Las Vegas - House of M, M1 LLC, We Are Accelerators, and The Bright Agency Group.

- Her maiden name is Melissa Garten and had a company in Arizona called Static Management - if you look her up using this name on Ripoff Report, you will find other complaints about her.

- You can look up civil records for Melissa Broadway in the Las Vegas Justice Court and for Melissa Garten in the Arizona Judicial Branch.

I worked with Melissa for approximately six weeks in the fall of 2016. She promised reimbursement for all of her company expenses that she asked me to cover when she said she was having a problem with her credit card, and I believed her. She promised to pay me for the hours that I put in for her company, and I believed her. She took me to New York to meet some of her clients, who were all legitimate, wonderful, hard-working people, and so it became even easier to believe her. And when she offered to make me a partner and give me a large percentage of the company, I really wanted to believe her.

During my time working with her, I saw her take money from clients, deceive them often, and not deliver what she promised. She hired freelancers, who she either never paid or who had to relentlessly follow-up with her and even threaten lawsuits just to get the few hundred dollars that she had agreed to pay them.

After being asked to cover too many of her company expenses, not being paid a dime, and realizing how much she lied to her clients and others, I quit. She was very apologetic and reinforced her promises of reimbursing me as well as paying me for the hours that I worked. She agreed in writing that she owed me around $7,000. After months of chasing her down and receiving a plethora of excuses as to why she wasn't paying me, I finally threatened to sue her and she just continued with the excuses and stringing me along. So, I followed through and sued her.

There were four court dates in total and she didn't show up for a single one of them. She sent a lawyer to the first one and filed a motion for continuance that morning citing that she missed her first flight and also that her plane from Chicago was delayed. I have documentation of all of the flights out of Chicago that day and which ones were actually delayed... Her lawyer withdrew from the case three weeks later.

The court ruled in my favor and as of writing this, Melissa owes me approximately $7,500. She has made no attempt to make it right and pay me what she promised from the very beginning.

I worked with her when her company was M1 LLC (she never registered it with the state to do business) and in February 2017, which was exactly when I filed my lawsuit, she happened to change the company name to House of M.

She preys on people and uses them by forming a false friendship and will lie to get whatever she wants, which is usually money and/or sympathy.

She may say that she is seeking her tribe, wants to work with and empower women, do self-improvement (like listen to Abraham Hicks and Brené Brown), help others succeed, and be a good person, but don't trust her. She'll say she is mission-driven, but the mission is to rip you off.

She has caused a lot of stress and created financial burden for many entrepreneurs who trusted her to do what she said she would do. And when they demand to be paid what she promised, they receive excuses or radio silence.

She is a master of deception and you'll really want to give her the benefit of the doubt. Please don't fall for it.

In my experience and with all the documentation I have and communication with others from her existence, in business and in life, she is deceitful and is without authentic remorse for the problems she causes.

She is also co-owner of a start-up agency called MARQUE MEDIA. Her co-owner, Heidi Nazadurin, is also a huge scammer.

They mostly employ Filipino professionals who cannot chase after them with law -- pretty convenient since they have tons of pending lawsuits about this. A lot of employees left the company after not being paid for MONTHS of hard work. They are all overworked, overloaded, and are not paid on time or AT ALL.

Melissa is now saying she’s in a civil union with Brad Jones and calls herself Melissa Jones as well as Melissa Marie. No doubt in an attempt to escape the reports made about her here rather than even address them here and/or pay people what she owes them. She is also now claiming to have gone to law school, which is a fabrication.
