Menards Special order cabinets Johnson Creek, Wisconsin

Just wanted to let everyone know if your special ordering from menards, be prepared to be frustrated and disappointed!  I purchased all of my cabinets at menards(stock cabinets that are finished app.$1100.00).  Remodeling my older home I also need 2 special order cabinets.  1-9" base cabinet, 1-21" wall cabinet.  Purchased on 12-14-09.  Was told and in wiriting around 1-3-10.  I know these things take time so I agreed and signed for special order.  On 1-3-10 came into store, cabinets were not in! Was told "truck needs to be full before they come from Indiana".  Disappointed, but not angry, was told at that time 1-11-10 would be new delivery date.  Fine with me, gave them a little slack/holidays etc  arrived at store on 1-11-10 and guess what? They still not in!  

They are not even delievering to my home I am picking them up.  Was told it "might be here on 1-18-10!  Thats when I got angry!  I explained my countertops, sink, backsplash, etc could not go in until I got these cabinets.  I have no sink, no running water!  I also said the only reason they keep blowing me off is because I signed for special order which means NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS!  The reason they are scammers at menards is when I ordered on the 12-14-09 They never said 6 weeks later, had I known, Home Depot is not that far!  I would have went there!  Now what if the cabinets are not in on 1-18-10?  What can I do?  Maybe March til I have a kitchen?  To top it off, the 12months/no interest on big card, guess when that starts? yep 12-14-09!  Tell me how this is fair?

Lastly this is a complete kitchen overhaul.  New drywall, elec. plumbing, its not like I could have left exsisting in place til everything came in.

A longtime menards shopper that has spent 20,000 in the 4 years I have owned my home, built a garage, roof, drywall, and a new kitchen... well almost.
