I purchased a replacement screen to repair my cracked iPhone 6 from Mengtor.com. They shipped the screen. I began installing it. When I removed the protective film from the front I noticed a crack near where the home button was. I immediately contacted them with an email to ask what to do. Here is the email:
The iPhone 6 screen that I received has a crack in it and a white spot on the screen.
I sent pictures along with the short email.
I recieved the following email from Mengtor
In regards to the IPhone 5c, yes you may return it if it was ordered incorrectly. In regards to the IPhone 6 screen, was this part received cracked on arrival? For any damaged/defective screen, we do not send out a replacement part. I have forwarded this information to the RMA Department, please expect a reply from them shortly for more information on this issue. Any concerns or questions, as well as additional images would be helpful for RMA Department in order for them to be of better assistance. If you would like to contact the RMA Department please email them at: rma-dept@mengtor.com.
I ended up completing the RMA request, sent in my screen that had cost me $60. They denied my request and kept the screen. I ended up having to send them a prepaid mailing label to get them to send my screen back. The screen now new cracks in the glass and had a cracked LCD and was completely unusable. I'm assuming they had tossed it in some file or box and it got ruined or they sent me another screen they had laying around. Regardless, the screen now was useless.
The reason for the denial was that in my RMA request I didn't answer their question about it being broken upon arrival. I assumed that my original email conveyed that it was broken when I got it since I sent it on the day the phone arrived. I tried to explain to them that it was broken upon arrival, but they wouldn't accept it because I didn't answer that part of their question in the original email when they first asked it.
It is a bad way to do business to assume your customer is always trying to take advantage of you. I had planned on doing lots of business with them. I am now taking my business to Amazon who has fantastic customer service. Avoid Mengtor.com folks, they are as close to a scam as you can get. I have a feeling they are run by a company in China and hold very different values from the way Americans expect business to be conducted.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You put wrong size screw in home button hole...

I read your review and I find it hard to believe that it came like that. I would deny your return too, and so would anyone that has experience in the repair bussiness. One of the dots you point at on the screen is from improper installation of a screw that was not meant to go there, it only shows that it was installed by someone who didnt know what they were doing. I appreciate ripoff report but I don't appreciate missleading reports such as this one. You clearly took the film off after installation because the missplaced screw had already stripped the paint off of the glass. I will be buying from Mengtor because your the only negative report they have and it is clearly not their fault. If you are going to be buying screens and isntalling them, line up your screws as you take them off so you dont mix them all up, and dont push by the home button when trying to flush the screen down on the frame again........
