We first were contacted by "Dealer Services" last year. They were offering an extended warranty for our vehicle. We drive a lot so it would help to be able to cover our vehicle with a warranty all the way to 125,000 miles. We decided that this would be a good idea to help us in case something expensive breaks down. So we started our warranty. They never sent us the official break down of the warranty until a couple weeks after we had sent the down payment. It still seemed like a good deal.

However, we took our vehicle in to get service, because it started running hot. The vehicle has 110,000 miles and we would like to utilize our "warranty" before it was too late. After the mechanic at the dealership went over our vehicle, they called us with total. They said that a representative from the warranty company had to come out and inspect our vehicle and figure out what was covered.

The vehicle was going to cost $5,000.00. That to us is a lot of money. So we assumed that the warranty would cover everything except the seat heater, which I could understand. The heat element in a seat is not normally covered and I could accept that. The problem was that all the other repairs were to the radiator and the engine.

It turns out that the warranty will only cover $50/ hour labor, which any certified place charges $75, and they were only willing to pay for the partial repair of our seals: Nothing for the radiator, engine, and all the things that are listed in our pamphlet about our warranty.

I just started searching them on the internet and didn't find good things at all. The better business bureau has a lot of complaints, even on this website I found a few. I hope the person that mentioned they are going out of business is right. I will not give them another cent and I'm glad we didn't pay it in full upfront. It think with all of these problems, there should be a class action suit against them.
