Absolutely Rude and incompetent. I have dropped off my Mercedes C63 AMG after it got rear-ended back in December. Sounds like an easy issue and should have been taken care of right away. But no...
After several issues, threats and unfriendly discussions with Ernie (Manager of Auto Nation) I have finally no other option than using social media to warn about their unfair practices. They have not even provided me with a Loaner for the duration of the work. I have had seveal discussions about getting a rental car and they ignored phone calls and email attempts. After 7 months, I have had rental car fees for several thousand dollars. And again, Ernie and Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota just ignored the fact.
The car was purchased at Auto Nation back in December for over $85,000 and now you get treated like an absolute enemy. I have consulted an attorney now and informed Mercedes Benz USA to take a look in this case.
You guys will get what you deserve!

Written Agreement?

An attorney will request to view the written agreement that states the seller or service center are obligated to provide you with a loaner vehicle. You are driving a rental vehicle so apparently such an agreement does not exist.
It’s unclear as to why you consider this to be a rip-off.

You say you were rear ended which means in all probability it was the other driver's fault. Why are you not going after that insurance company? What about your own coverage? Why is it up to the dealer to GIVE you a loaner? Is it their policy? Unless there is some sort of dealer policy to provide you with a loaner, you can get any attorney you want and you will have no case! On the other hand, an attorney might be able to help you go after the other driver's insurance company.
