Merchant Data Systems ripoff deceptive contract hid 5 year term in lengthy small print and charged a $3096 cancellation fee when I cancelled my account Miami Beach Florida

This is a credit card processing company - you are a small business person, do not work with this company. Not only were they nightmarish to work with in general in terms of customer service and outrageous fees and discount schedules, but when they lost over $5k of our credit card processing, I cancelled our account with them and they charged me a $3096 cancellation fee. The cancellation fee, which I still cannot find after pouring over the small print of my contract, is burried in a 20+ clause statement of minute small print. Interestingly, the five year minimum term is also burried in the small print and is not found on the declarations page (i.e. main contract page with fees, discount schedules etc ...).
