Meridian Financial Sent a check for 4500.00 Lawton Oklahoma

I received a letter that you are one of the winners in the second category of Sweepstake and Lottery Draw held on June 1st, 2008. I was also sent a check in the amount of 4500.00.
I was advised to contact my assigned claims agent, BARBARA HALL at 1-905-616-5242. So when I called the number the lady told me to call back in 30 minutes so she could look up the claim #.
I called back in an hour they picked up the phone 4 times and hung it up. Finally she answered "Hello" I asked her is this Meridian Financial she said "Yes".
I knew by her behavior this was a scam, but went along with my excitment I specifically asked her how i was entered into a sweepstakes without my knowledge. Her response was that a grocery store may have entered me. She went on to tell me to deposit the check in my account and call her in 3 days and she'll tell me how to mail in the taxes in the amount of 2980.00. Then I would receive a check for the remainder of the money I won 4,500,000.00 by UPS and had to show 2 forms of ID when they come.
After I hung up I looked up the Meridian Financial and no such company. I looked up the bank on the check Communications FCU. Good Bank wrong address. If i would have deposited the check I would have been liable for all fees when the account # was no good.
