Meridien Residential Group is a fraud. Let me explain how unscrupulous this management company is. This company purchased or funded Lively at Carolina Forest with the sole intention of running it for 18 months, charging ridiculous fees and running a terrible complex while they always planned to sell after a couple of years. They planned for all the reviews for Lively because they knew they would just sell after a couple of years and recoup the investment through ridiculous application and admin fees. I was charged an application fee and admin fee for Lively and when my application was denied they kept the admin fee, no question asked. There has never been a property mangemement company stupid enough to enact a policy like this because of the repercussions involved (me writing this for instance). But these guys knew they could take a few months of bad press while advertising $1000 gift cards for move in, in order to attract as many applications as possible so they were able to recoup as much investment during the first couple of years (less than 18 months really) before selling the property. I'm going to make the internet so well aware of these guys. They are crooks. But it's obvious because any good business person who would have handled my situation would have immediately understood and refunded at least my admin fee. I never asked fo the application fee back, just the admin fees because I was denied. I run the marketing for two businesses and they would have never let a customer go this far because their intention is to stay in business. That was never these guys intentions. I'm going after these guys to the full extent and will be involving lawyers shortly as soon as I gather enough witnesses.
