Merrick Bank Credit Cards Lies contiuosly, raises credit card, closes account Internet

Merrick Bank Credit Cards:

Although having been a customer with one credit card for 7 years, I have experienced a company that despite your payment, even with immediate wires, you can't use this credit card for a regular cycle. This company uses "check kiting" as an excuse to only make the card available in a 20 day cycle. This company changes your due date to cause confusion and charge late payments. Except when Congress issued the decree of no more late payment charges, then if you are over the limit, they CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.  If you try to negotiate with them regarding the fees, credit percentate rate

usually they jack it up to the maximum 35% regardless of payment history or credit score, forget getting the same answer.  My account was CLOSED. Do not try to negotiate a lower rate, they will then put you in a HARDSHIP program and ruin your credit again.  Their customer service agents are trained to usually make up whatever they want, as they have lied to me on several occassions. They say hey, pay all the fees which we just charged (most of everything you pay them are their fees,) and come up with some arbitrary number for you to pay. Then you pay it expect your card to be reopened and someone gives you a higher number. Then they have you. You don't want to be reported for late payment, yet you don't have an active card. And so you are in internal "collections" forever.  

Very clever. And probably if you think you are going to improve your credit with Merrick, the actual opposite is in effect. Their agents lie or are trained poorly to lie, they don't stand by much they say to you.

Don't get near this company. It isn't really a bank anyway but a screwd predator that should be put out of business.  Whoever owns the automatic computer unit, makes sure you just don't pay the minimum, so their numbers are also rigged.

Congress, or anyone won't help you. Forget regulation, just realize you have made a mistake and run away from them as fast as your credit score allows you to do so.

They are not a credit card company, they are a predator, similar to being in the wild and nature always wins.  Be careful but get get away more carefully.
