Metal Supermarkets Villa Park Garrett Morrell over priced, steals from customers,rip off, cheats,liars, hires illegal aliens, employs drug users and alcoholics villa park, Illinois

As a former customer I have to say that I am very displeased with the Metalsupermarkets in Villa Park. I was a long time customer of their old location in Elk Grove. Once that branch closed i had to gothis one. There is terrible customer service. They charge you four to five times the amount of any other steel supplier. The customer service is horriffic. They use profanity, they are rude, they are discriminatory, they take your money, they have no clue about what they are selling.

I purchased material and when i got home and opened the package it was completely wrong. They gave me aluminum when i paid for stainless steel. After noticing that, i checked my receipt and found out they charged me for brass on top of it. I went back to the store and the sales people were rude and argumentitive and tried to make it appear as if i was wrong. I asked for the manager and Garrett Morrell is not only the manager but the owner.

He told me to "piss off" I said excuse me sir, he told me that it was too late for returns and deal with it. He said the material was already cut so what i am supposed to do with that. I told him to cut me the right material for what i had ordered and to charge me the correct amount of money. They charged me for material i did not even order and then gave me the wrong stuff on top of it. The owner was some dirt bag with an accent and said that Americans are stupid.

I have never felt so embarrassed and insulted in my life. after several years and spending several thousand dollars with this company, i will never spend another dime while he is the owner or has those employees working there. If you like being ripped off,insulted, stole from, humiliated, and embarrased, then that is the right place to go. Otherwise, i have found several other suppliers that are great for my business and are three to four times cheaper which include McMaster Carr,liebovich steel, j rubin,rocco steel, and metalsupermarkets in rockford illinois.
