Brought car in for new transmission on 10/11/08. For over 1 month after wards argued and pleaded with Metro Acura and Acura Customer Care to fix my car. Metro Acura refused and even insulted and laughed at me and hung up the phone on my face. Acura care tried to reason with Metro Acura to no avail. Finally I was left abandoned to drive my car in it\'s broken state.

Risking the health and safety of any passengers in my car, any other drivers on the roads around me, and my self. It is common knowledge that every day I was forced to drive that car with the existing problems it would be further exasperating the damage.

Finally, on 1/10/09, at about 10PM, on highway 405, in the dark of night, my car broke down, leaving me stranded in the middle of the freeway. It was so SCARY. Here is a long list of damages Metro Acura did to my car. When I went to retrieve my car from Metro Acura after they completed their work, I did a inspection before I left Metro Acura, here is a list of what they did to my car. Large dent on my hood coming from inside outwards, and hood shocks were broken, and hood is now rattling when engine is running. This I noticed immediately when the hood fell on my head right in front of Andy whom could have cared less attitude. I've owned this car for about 3 years and the hood has never fallen once. Andy claimed the hood was like that when I brought my car in, which is an absolute lie.

As I was paying, before I inspected my car, Metro Acura agent Andy pulled me aside and whispered to me that they replaced my battery because it was \"broken\", and that I will need a new timing belt and distributor and something to do with spark plugs, and major tune up. So I then proceed to inspect my car. With that horrible omen from Andy lurking in the back of my heart. Power steering fluid was complete empty. Andy responded that Metro Acura did not have to touch the power steering to replace the transmission, and that they did not have to remove my entire engine. Then, my worry is, why was they power steering fluid completely drained then, and how could they be so foolish to return my car to me like that.

Well it coincides with my personal possession strewn about my car in overt disrespect. They did not bother at all the even try to conceal their misdeeds. I spoke with a mechanic whom told me that if I had drove away with the power steering fluid empty it could have had tragic consequences from a sever accident. And remember that Andy pulled me to the side and WHISPERED to me that I will need a new timing belt and all that other stuff he said. Then I realized wow all those things are connected at those belts to the power steering. Then I looked at my engine and I noticed how the entire top of my engine is a different color and much cleaner.

Then I noticed the belts on my car look different, more shiny. Later Bob would claim that they clean all the engines when they do major work. But I wonder why only the parts that look different to me are the parts that are cleaned, but no other parts are cleaned. How did they steam clean individual parts. My suspicion is that they totally stole my perfectly running quietly purring engine and replaced it with a half dead engine tuned up to last a couple months. And as I suspected, as soon as I returned home and each day after that my car started to have new sounds and get louder and louder. Then even damaged the inside of my car in several places and they did not even bother to even try to repair of conceal the damages.

Large scratches on the door panel and center console which were still fresh scratches with the whitish color and flakes from the scratched surface. Center console storage compartment lid completely broken. Personal possessions in the car were ransacked and played with and they did not even bother to try to conceal it. Stole my personal property too(several of my music cd\'s). Left my sun glasses which they took out of my glove box right next to the gear shift. Radio left on extremely loud latin music, so loud that I wonder if they broke my speakers. It is like they had a party in my car. Like it was stolen for a joy ride.

I\'ve had experience with people thinking that because I\'m Japanese they think I\'m passive and gullible and weak and they try to walk all over me. This is what I suspect happened here. At this point I had not even left the facility with my car. I had to take my car and leave because they refused to repair the hood and return my money. And we needed the car. Car sounded ok when we left. BUT, BUT, BUT.....

As soon as we arrived home about 30 minutes after retrieving our car the check engine light turned on. Then when I arrived home, I parked, and decided to leave the engine running and inspect it. I only started to step out of my car when I could hear then engine so loud running like a industrial manufacturing machine. I could here hissing, ticking, grinding, knocking, pumping, whirling, and all sorts of noises I had never heard from my engine before. Previous to my transmission failing my car ran so quiet. I used to be able to stand near my car with the engine running, and people could not even know the engine was on. Now the engine is HORRIBLE.

Since I\'ve purchased this car I have opened the hood and inspected the car nearly every 30 days. I performed walk around inspections with the engine running and the hood open every 30 to 60 days. I never heard any bad sounds. My car purred quietly. Now it runs like a tank. I can\'t bare to here my engine running now because it just breaks my heart. Even as I type this now I feel so betrayed and miserable. If my car ever had any of the bad sounds I would have immediately brought it in for inspection or repairs. My walk around inspections were thorough. I would leave the engine running and walk around listening and smelling everywhere for any noises or leaks or odors. I maintained my car like a pro. All that effort just to have Metro Acura destroy my car and I beleive steal my engine. OK, if they didn\'t steal my engine, then they absolutely did destroy it because it is nowhere near to what it was when I gave it to them. I don\'t even recognize my car any more.

I immediately began calling Metro Acura to complain about all the problems, sounds, check engine light on, damage to hood, damage to interior, theft, and all. Andy and Bob Baldwin at Metro Acura refused to acknowledge my complaints. Metro Acura refused to repair my car. Metro Acura abandoned me. I called many times over a one month period and they absolutely refused. I even called Acura corporation Customer Care whom called Metro Acura and called me back telling me that Metro Acura even refused them. I told Metro Acura that I don\'t have time or money to go through this sort of trouble. I begged them to fix their errors. They refused. I told them that I could not afford to take the car to another facility to have them inspect all the damages that Metro Acura made, and then repair them. So I would be forced to drive this car as it is and it is
a risk a safety risk.

Metro Acura ignored, refused, abandoned me, and hung up the phone on me. Metro Acura knew that driving this car that way would cause further damage.
Finally, on 1/10/09 my car broke down again. The transmission completely gave out on me in the dark of night in the middle of a freeway. I called Metro Acura and they said they will fix the transmission but I have to pay for towing and rental car.

I am left with no choice but to file this complaint and many other and file a lawsuit. I can\'t comprehend this being done to anybody. Steal my property, ransack my property, play with my property, and don\'t even try to conceal it. Break my hood and say it was like that. Completely destroy my engine. Ignore my pleas and hang up the pone on my face. How could Metro Acura be allowed by any authority to do this. I wish I had had the time or finances to purse this immediately but I had absolutely no available time and I was penniless. But now I have no other options. I hope any authorities will here my plea and come to my aid. I hope the courts will judge in my favor.

Damage Resulting = Dented hood, broken hood shocks, hood now crooked and rattling. Scratched interior door panel and center console. Broken center console compartment lid. Engine damage from being forced to drive this car while it has issues. How to calculate the economic damages. 1 month of stressfule arguments and abuse insults. 3 months of worry driving around in a broken car. Finally breaking down at night on a freeway. Danger to my family and friends and any passenger that is in my car and anybody else on the highway while I\'m driving this death trap. How to calculate.

I suggest Metro Acura should have to repay me the replacment value of the car. I suggest Metro Acura should have to pay punitive penalties for their excessive abuse and total disregard and overt negligence and abandoned towards me.
