I got a quoat from Travis of Metro Leveling to level and replace rotten wood under my peir and beam home. I paid him 1/2 of the total. His crew showed up and "Completed their work", The city contacted me an said they never pulled a permit to do the work (1st red flag), as soon as City officials showed up, workers quickly packed their truck and left (2nd red flag).

At this point I had the city Inspector, a paid inspector, and another leveling company with over 50 years experience review "their work". Turns out they had taken garden stones (little round stepping stones) stacked them around the perimeter of the house to give the illusion that it was leveled. Standard code requires large concrete bell peirs set on small pored slabs to be used, not stepping stones in the dirt. The rotten wood was only addressed, by Travis's crew, in the removal of it, which ultimately destroyed our home's foundation. They had removed the main center support beam and left the floor of our home bouncy like a trampoline! Our home at this point was considered unlivable.

As for Travis, he called ruthlessly to get the other 1/2 of HIS money, lol!!! Once my Attorney got involved, we find that his only excuse was the was hired to "Shim" my home, what a retard! Why on earth would I knowing that I have rotten wood and a damaged floor ever agree to have a company come to "SHIM" my home, get real! In his mind this is the only way he could justify his actions. Not paying him the other half of HIS money was the only justification that I got. We could never locate him, his cell number repeatedly changed.

Upon trying to serve papers and having an investigation done on this Travis Nech, if that is even his real name, There are so many registered company, website, alaiases, and addresses for him. GoodLUCK, finding him. I just hope his family gets treated better than his clients. Girlfriend or wife better watch out for unfaithfulness! It is in his character.
