Metro Mitsubishi was misleading and a total ripoff! I first purchased a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse in January 2000. 1 year and a half later due to my family growing I traded the vehichle in for a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
This is were my nightmare began. After having payed allready more than $25,000 I have come to find out this vehicle will never be mine. I recently tried to trade it in with another Mitsubishi dealer in San Antonio and was told that I have a ballon Payment due in July 2007 because I am under a lease.(Diamond Advantage Program) Which leads me to ask what advantage and for who only them!
In July 2007 I am expected to pay an aditional $11,000+. I clearly remember the loan guy telling me SIGN HERE this is stating you are purchasing the vehicle not leasing it! So what a lie that was! No other dealer ship wants this vehichle because of such a high payoff amount and a $600 payment a month does not help my Financial situation.
Please advise! And for those of you reading. Please do not do any business with Mitsubishi.

Im in the same boat you are in with this DA plan that is a good plan for the company NOT the cust that should be 1st
So please let me know how you handled this situation. I hoping that maybe a lawyer will read this and a Civil Lawsuit can start
