I spoke with Broker/Owner Travis Senenfelder about hiring him and his company to manage my 2 properties. I was going to be moving and wanted a top notch firm to handle my real estate holding while I was away. I was lured in by the fact he claims to own the largest single family, townhomes and apartment rental agency in Minnesota even its surrounding areas..."this statement alone, suggests other cities which, well Minnesota includes all cities, or suggest other states, however isn't licensed in other states? So that worried me right from the get go. After becoming skeptical of his promises of grandeur. I did some research and found they are a fairly new company and as the owner states on his website "boutique" in size. (Contradicting I know). After some research I found numerous firms whom has issues with this company and its false claims of success. I even ran across a study done by a local firm that shows this company not even in the top 5. I even ran into a landlord whom had a similar experience by chance when I was venting, that this firm had bounced a check on them at a buffet of all places, and held there money for over 3 weeks, almost as if they needed the money, once releases this check bounced. I dont know if this was ever recovered, but ALARMING when I heard this. Needless to say, they are not the the largest, not very experienced, and from what I was told by a random stranger at a buffet, not very successful and your money might be lost! Beware when hiring them, if nothing else do you research. Talk to a few companies, and dont go hook line and sinker for smooth talkers.
