Metro Rv Of Santa Ana And Burbank Bought a new rv, traded in old one and still has not been paid off by dealer after 3 months Burbank, Santa Ana California

I purchased a Motorhome from Metro Rv in the los angeles area. On sept. 5th 2007 Was told that my trade in would be paid for in a "timely manner" to the bank. I made countless calls (I estimate 40 calls over 3 months) To different people at the dealership and sister dealership. Was passed around quite a few times. Was told the check for payoff is on someones desk last friday.

Called this past friday and was then told that check was still on same persons desk due to a family death that took this 1 person out of the office for a week. Was told that I would have a phone call by the end of the day with a tracking number for the check. Did not hear from them once again.

I have been polite up until I was lied to for a 5th time today. Left angry messages with swearing because I am at my wits end. I do not want my credit to be affected any more than it already has been. I would like them to do what they said they were going to do in the first place (pay off my existing loan on my old rv that I traded in and had the negative equity included in my new loan for my new rv) My other fear is that since the dealership has been so un professional I am worried they are going to go bankrupt and stiff me with this old loan.

I at this point would like to do all I can to make a example of these people if possible. This has been the worst experience as a consumer of my life.
