Metropark Consumer Research Group TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! SECRET SHOPPER SCAM! TOTALLY UNCOOL!! MTL QC Quebec Canada

I recieved a letter in the mail with a check for 3,995 dollars. I thought it would be awesome if it was for real but the name on the check had nothing to do with the letterhead.

So i called the company that send me the letter and they told me what to do. they said to spend a certain amount of the money at a store and then wire them 3,330 dollars thru money gram.

They did not want me to just cash the check they wanted me to deposit it into my checking account and then go from there. After I spoke with them I called the company on the actual check which was Westech Computer Systems DBA infassure. Which is a technical support company.

As soon as I explained to them what i recieved they told me immediatly that it was a fraudulant check and not to deposit it into my account. They said that Metropark wants me to put it in an account because Westech's bank will not honor the check and it will bounce.

So once I wired the majority of the money back to Metropark the check would actually bounce in my account and i would be out almost four thousand dollars PLUS the bank fees for the bounced check.

I am so glad that i got on to the internet and looked up the name on the actual check and gave them a call. I really hope no one falls for this it is just horrible and totally immoral!! I filed a fraud report with the United States Postal Service so hopefully this will come to and end!
