Metropcs Cell Phone Company Ripped me off for $51.91 for month NEVER used Internet

MetroPCS ripped me off for $52.91 for a month I never used.   I turned my cell phone off for 1 month   from Jan 8 to Feb 8  2010

My payments for the NEW month falls on the 8th of each month. 

I paid last night ( feb 8 2010 ) $52.91 for the new month of February. Well the next day my phone is off!

I call the Metropcs service number a man there explains that my payment covers the month of Jan (   well then why was the phone on for a few hours it being Feb 8 ? )

He explained that they were saving my phone number....in other words the payment is for saving your phone number from being erased. LIES!

Metropcs gives you 2 MONTHS before they erase your number!

After I said that , he further ads ... well it was your duty to call metropcs to tell them you were taking a month off....

REALLY? since when>? 

I have done several the same thing several times in the past ( turning the phone off for a month...waiting till the next month started and paying....and they NEVER took my payment and used it to cover the month I missed. )  this is a new scam they are pulling on people just to make some more money. 

Metropcs HAVE changed the rules...without any warning...I feel scammed and ripped off!

Stealing my $52.91 for 1 month on not using the phone!   AND they expect me to pay another $52.91 for the new month!

I grabbed a hammer and smashed my cell phone.  They can go to hell.

also recently they have lowered the prices on plans....yet they don't tell their long term customers or lower their prices.  Their $40 plan offers the same thing as the $50 plan I have been paying for.....strange how they didn't lower my bill .....they have no problem ripping off long term customers.  I hope the company FAILS
