MGM Universal Timeshares They almost hooked another one Orlando Florida

This company has been phoning me at my ex-husbands home for about 9 months now. He sent me an email with the phone number to call. I called on March 25, 2009, and spent over 40 minutes talking with a Jack Zirilla. I knew it sounded way too good to be true. He wanted me to sign papers letting them showcase and sell my timeshare at the Sheraton Vistana Resort.

I said to him that I would come to Orlando to the closing like you do with any other real estate transaction. He said there was no need to do that, but that I had to sign the forms for them to showcase my unit. I asked him if he was able to show the actual unit at Sheraton. He said no, but that this company takes pictures and videos to show the prospective buyers. He then put me on hold to see how many families there were that wanted to rent my unit right away for 2800.00. He came back with 6 people who wanted to rent my unit and then purchase it for 26,000. I told him that I would not sign any papers unless I was at the closing, at a title company and was given a cashiers check for the purchase price, minus any fees.

I got off the phone and pulled up the website. The MGM Universal logo looked funny to me. The attachments were a Better Business letter with an ID number and the logos of RCI and another timeshare business like RCI. So, I went and googled the web address, and, that was how I found out about your site. I hope this will help alot of people. They should all have to face prison and fines for doing this type of scam work. We need to show potential scam artists that there will be a substantial penalty and jail time for this type of fraud and robbery.
