MIC SMITH Charged me $1200.00 for bad sod that did not grow. Port Orange Florida

MIC said he would put in St. Agustine grass on my backyard. I was to keep it watered for 2 weeks. It rained everyday and the yard got plenty of water. After 6 weeks I called him to tell him there no grass and it was all dying. He would not come and look at it because he said he was too busy and that I would have to pay again for him to redo it. He said it was all my fault because I did not call him sooner.  It was only 6 weeks and all the sod was dead. All I have now is snake grass. He did not do any preparation to the soil before he put the sod down. He just threw it all down and it was all bumpy. He said after 2 weeks it would catch on and smooth out. But it never did. I feel he took advantage of me because I am a senior.
