$1400 for a 30 gallon Hot Water tank replacement while my wife and I were on vacation. In 2014 I contacted Michael and Sons because our breaker kept tripping on our small condo Hot Water tank.. My neighbors let them in and they determined it was a bad tank (8 years old!!) I said well what do you recommend.. They said a new tank installed would be $1380... I said WOW the tank cant be more than $350 and 2 Hours thats $500 and hour!!! I guess I have no choice.. go ahead... They put in the mini tank and left... That day the breaker tripped again!!! I contacted them and they said well its your wires in the wall!! I said what!?!?!? What about the tank? they said well.... that was bad also...... I contacted a local electrician and he determined the Whol issue was a bad breaker which he charged $125 service call and parts... Michael and SOns sends out idiots and Liars.... After sharing my story with the condo association is Reston .... We had two other people have contacted these price gaugers for a small tub bathroom.... They wanted close to $15,000 to remodel the small bathrooms...
