Michael Cody Photographer found through Yellow Pages / Directory Assistants - SCAM did not deliver - Glastonbury Connecticut

My wife, Dai and I are chasing Michael Cody down for our photo album. As part of our wedding photo package, we were entitled to a photo album worth a couple of thousand dollars.

We needed a Photographer for our wedding in Glastonbury CT and came across an ad for Michael Cody - Photogrpaher when we were in Long Island.  The images looked nice so we tried to reach him but the phone number went to some other business. We ended up calling Directory Assistants to get the number which should have been our first clue.

Due to extenuating circumstances, we did not order our album until a year later. As a result, we had to pay extra for the album and for him to activate the gallery on his site. Fine! We accepted the extra charge as it was in the contract and we were responsible for placing the order for the album. Once we did order the album (at the beginning of May 2014) and got his confirmation of the order, he disappeared. My wife has attempted to contact him multiple times over the past three months and has not received a response. Needless to say, we have not received the album. We tried to access his site to see if we could contact him that way. The site is gone and even Dai's agency could not find it.

We have family in CT , MA , and NY that we had wanted to show them our album but we never got one!

We have come to the conclusion we will never see the album or hear from Michael Cody again. We paid for an album as part of our wedding photography package - I think overpriced to begin with - and paid extra fees and it vanished into thin air. The only saving grace was that made sure he sent us all the files. So we can make an album ourselves - even more money.

At the end of the day, he either went belly up or decided to just take off with our money. If it's the former, he should at least have the courtesy to respond to clients seeking their albums and photos and explain the situation. If not, he should enjoy the money because he will not make another time as a photographer. I am sure we are not the only folks he let down.

If he surfaces again, I would strongly recommend you stay away and not use his services. You may end up in the same boat we did.
