UPDATE--The false reporter in this case has been continuously incarcerated since the last update, and will be headed for prison in the near future. UPDATE--I have confirmed that as suspected, the original report above was written by Mark Allen Dix, using his known alias "Lance". Additionally, I have confirmed that yesterday, in part because of the filing of his initial false report (above), and several other independent reports of criminal activity by Dix, Felony Sex Offender Probation officers executed a search of Dix' room and discovered a hidden computer which contained numerous homosexual child pornographic images. Dix was immediately arrested, and is being held without bond in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center (1825 County Services Pkwy. SW, Marietta, GA 30008, telephone (770) 499-4200) on two separate county holds for violation of felony sex offender probation, and for multiple new charges which will include at a minimum, possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of children. These new charges make Dix a recidivist felon. In addition, Dix' sex offender felony probation will be revoked. I will update with warrant #s, charges at arrest, and charges indicted, and case # as this information is released to the public. To all who have helped publicly and behind the scenes: Thanks for your support and caring attention, and for providing the authorities with the assistance and tips which have led to Dix' new arrest. This report has been posted by Mark Dix (using one of his old aliases), a twice-convicted pedophile and child pornographer. You can look him up on the Georgia Bureau of Investigation registered sex offenders site; also in the registered sex offenders in Cobb County, Georgia. Almost nothing Dix states is correct. I have never pled guilty to anything, other than minor traffic citations. The falsely-reported alleged crime was reported by me to local and State Bars. Superior Court of Cherokee County has already heard Mr. Dix' allegations (twice) and found that most, if not all of what he is saying is false. I have never been privately or publicly disciplined by any Bar, and am an active member in good standing. I have received only three complaints in about 10 years of criminal practice (from parking tickets to death penalty); all three (including that of Dix) were quickly decided in my favor. Interestingly, Dix is using an alias because one of his sentences provides that he is not allowed to access the internet in any way. Please disregard what Dix has written--his are the embittered words of a twice-convicted felon sex offender. I am the Wife of Michael E. Bierman. We have been married for 15 years and I know him better than anyone. He specializes in Criminal Defense Law and he is excellent at what he does.Since he started his Law Practice 4 years ago he has dedicated all his time and energy to his clients and his office.

These last years have been very difficult on our family. Mike has sacrificed many hours and has hardly been reimbursed for his efforts. Most of his clients can't afford to pay him and we work with them even accepting bartering agreements and assets as payment.

Mike is not part of the "Good Ole Boy" network in Canton in fact it is quite the opposite. It is no surprise that Police don't like Criminal Defense Attorneys. The personal attacks on my husband by the Police Department are complete lies and the tapes that could have proved it disappeared.

More than likely, the person writing this is a formal client of Mike's that was accused and found guilty of a heinous crime that I will not mention. This person has attempted to contact me at my home from his jail cell. He has sent me harassing letters to meet him at the jail house. This has to stop.
