Michael Figgs Slimey Slippery Slumlord Princess Anne Maryland

THis individual is a Slumlord . He converted a garage yes car garage into an iligal apartment. It only has 1 enterance and no exit. When I moved in, it had no electric, smoke dectectors or a mail box. That should have been my first clue it was a dive.

I first was paying 500.00 a month but when I told him I was moving he lowered the rent to 300.00 so he would have income from the place. When it rains heavy the Kitchen and bedroom floor leaks. I have had 3 kitchen floors and mold since I moved in  in 4 years. THe septic backed up all into my bathroom and the bathroom floor came up.

He has always left me to clean up all the mess and has never reimbursed me for anything. HIs famous line is " we'll work something out" . Yea right. He has always, as agreed  cut the grass and now he has stopped.THe molding on the outside of the house is falling down allowing every animal in the world to take nest in my attic.

Besides moving which I am but need time to find a place  can I do. Can I take him to court. Can I report him for renting an illigal dwelling and not paying taxes on the money,. I still have all the signed rent receipts since I moved in including a 500.00 Security deposit I paid.
