Michael Filimoniuk, Michael Filimonuk I was a victim of "Theft by Deception" and "Theft by Extortion" Hoffman Estates, Illinois

I had a 3 month business relationship with a very skilled con artist. After doing some research on the internet I realized I was a victim of both Theft by Extortion and Theft by Deception to the tune of well into the 5 figures. What are my legal options? It seems the police and even an attorney I have spoken to don't want to be involved, but I don't want this con artist to continue doing this to others.

"Theft by Extortion" was basically if I stop doing business with him and if I don't pay him the amount of money he is asking for he will do things to hurt my business. " Theft by Deception" is if I "do him right" eventually he will share some of his and his families great wealth. Many victims of con artist like me are too embarrassed that they had been taken and the con artist continues conning others. I hope I can help someone not become a victim like me.
