I bid on a computer and monitor on ebay. I lost. I received a 2nd chance offer on computer and monitor from seller through ebay. I tried the buy it now and it wouldn't work. The seller and I communicated outside of ebay, since ebay wouldn't work.
Agreed on price, went to bid-pay to complete transaction. Bid-pay wouldn't take mastercard only visa and american express. All I had was a mastercard. Bid-pay was a service that provided security to both seller and buyer. Seller was willing to use bid-pay. When bid-pay wouldn't take mastercard I sent funds through western union. This was after talking with seller on telephone, receiving his address, his email, and his chat name.
I felt confident in seller. I sent him $750 which he picked up next day. Transaction began on April 27 2005 and today is June 7 2005. I have received a printer which was never discussed in transaction. I never wanted a printer or asked for a printer.
He has been full of lies that I can verify from the day he picked up my money. He continues to have contact with me about every other day. He has a new lie every other day. I have proven every excuse to be a lie and he continues to try to get more money from me. I have offered so many reasonable ways to end this transaction, all of which he will not consider. At this point he says he has claimed on the insurance he purchased when he shipped the computer and monitor (first told me shipped UPS, then from Mailbox Etc, and then USPS) from USPS. But I have confirmed that he has done no such thing. He claims he received a voucher from USPS only payable to Dell. I confirmed that USPS doesn't pay insurance claims with vouchers ever.
He will not give me any information regarding tracking #'s or claim #'s. I have reported to local authorities to no avail.

Mike Libby didn't stop ripping people off. He continued until there were enough complaints from several people from several states. The authorities had to do something. After dozens of complaints, and he being on probation it looks as though he will be prosecuted for fraud among other things. This process has taken 3 years. But I have kept up on him and even was able to contact others that have been scammed by him. In the end he will be charged and the charges will include restitution. I don't expect to get my money but when he proves he can't provide restitution he will have to serve more jail time. I can live with that. 4-12-08

It is now Nov 2005. Michael G. Libby still is full of lies and will not settle with me. I am in the process of finalizing the prosecution of this individual. The prosecution process takes so much time but will happen slowly but surely. If you come across this individual don't do any business with him. He is a crook. His name is Michael G Libby. He lives is Kimball Minnesota. He goes to school at St.Cloud State University. I will add his picture soon. He is 25 or 26 years old. 4/30/1980 is his birthdate. He graduated from Kimball High School in 1998. I will be adding his picture soon.
