After paying the $2200.00 fee and filling out the questenaire, I had not heard anything for a few months. Then without warning, all of our asets were frozen. The IRS levied our accounts. This was supposed to have been prevented when I hired this agency in the first place. I contacted the IRS and they stated that they had no indication that I was being represented by a tax agency. After numerous calls to Michael Gill and Richard Hargus they had the IRS release the levy.

I negotiated a payment plan with the IRS myself. All that I received for my money was getting my tax return prepared. I could have gone to HR Block and had that done for $150.00. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after numerous attempts at trying to find out what the disposition of my case was and not getting any response from USTRA. Suddenly I got a response from Michael Gill. He initiated a law suit for slander, defamation of character, making terroristic threats. All of this because I filed a complaint with the BBB. Mr. Gill never filed the lawsuit after I withdrew my BBB complaint. I was told by Richard Hargus that my offer in comprimise was rejected by the IRS and an appeal was scheduled in November of 2007. I spoke with the IRS today 1-22-08 and they indicated that they have no record of an offer in comprimise ever being filed on my behalf!

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Rebuttal from Ex-Employee

AUTHOR: Richard - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 06, 2008

This client received a full refund of all fees paid to USTRA. Therefore, no further work was completed on his behalf. However, I did release payroll levies, bank levies on several accounts, and prepared tax returns...all of which he ended up getting for free. I even have an email in this file from the client stating that "all I want.....is to be set up on a payment plan."

This client did not qualify for an offer due to assets and was set up on a payment plan (even though his fees were refunded in full). Any offer that would have been prepared for a client is mailed to the client for submission to the IRS. Clients must sign and submit information with offers in order for them to be submitted. It is not even possible for anyone else to submit an offer. Any offer would have had to go through the client. However, as previously stated, this client was set up on a payment plan with the IRS because he did not qualify for an offer.

We have received recent notification that the client has again recently defaulted on his payment plan which was set up for him. Therefore, all of the work done on his account was done free of charge and now he is right back where he started because he did not follow through with his payment arrangement.
