Michael James MacInnis is using his first names Michael James and/ or fictitious acronyms to attempt to steal. He is delusional and pretends that his new ventures are well financed, is well planned and structured to grow to be a large 400 franchise operation and offer high wages and other perks.  After a few weeks, his strategy is to use the services of the person but never pays them.  Also, he tries to get sales of franchise ownership or course materials with promises of very high pyramid like returns while disguising the whole as secured loans of legitimate business.  He claims to have legal opinions that are non-existent.  He claims to be a Chartered accountant which he is not.  He tries to enter into contracts using fictitious and unincorporated corporation. 

He pretends that he has legal opinions that he does not need to be licensed, incorrect.  He has tried the very same scam in Toronto and Ottawa in the past (since 2011).  He has now changed stop using his last name.  Do not believe in any of his statements or promises.  Ask how long his staff has been with him, and if any have ever been paid. If he contacts you for an investment, contact your provincial securities commission or agency.  He is solicitating directly or indirectly loans and investments illegally without having any licensing, or even the competency.
