Contracted Mike Osborne to install a hood for a Soup Kitchen/ Cafe I am opening in Fair Haven VT. Paid him $2600 up front and $700 for a stove with the promise it would be installed within two weeks. four months later, I am still not open and out most of my money. Stove was not woth $100 I returned immediately, hood installed finally not up to code and he is not licensed to work in Vermont.
I have spent 4 months fighting for my money back. Heading to small claims court today to file paperwork. I f nothing else I will get my satisfaction. the worse part is I feel sorry for the retired priest, paying rent for a space and we cannot cook out of yet....
He promised me the world and sold me a pack of lies..
The man is a sweet con artist, lies to your face and had the nerve to tell me he went to see the Pope after ripping of a priest!
HE cost me an entire season, I have not worked in 4 months and have sold my car to try and get open but to no avail.
He recently sent me $200 and gave me $345 in supplies so he is trying to make amends, but how can you sit at a World Series game with my money and seriuosly expect me to feel sorry for you...
Please don't get fooled like me.

I have been doing busines with Michael Osborn for over 10yrs. In the begining things went well for the mot part. He doesnt respect your time. Make an appointment and its always a reason why he cant make it. My uncle closed his fish market in Albany, so I recommended we call Mike. That was April 2018. I spoke with him after Thanksgiving 2023 and On Dec 16, He said he'll bring me $200. He has well over $10,000 worth of our equipment and he has been ducking us since 2018. I've called and he doesnt answer. When he does answer, its always an excuse. 3 days Ive been waiting for him and his favorite line is, "I'll call you bck in 30 minutes". When anyone needs equipment I alaways recommend Mike, despite what people say about him. Its time to shut him down. I dont kknow how he's still in business. He is definetly a con artist
