The manager (Michael Petroski) of Crossland Credit is a liar as well a thief. You can't really blame him when the owners are no different. This topic mainly has to do with debt settlements that this company does for its clients. Or i should say the settlements Michael Petroski does for the customers. Did you ever wonder if he really uses all the money you give him to pay all of your debt? Well he doesn't, nothing in this world is free; but you can't just take someones money and charge them a fee of sometimes $600. All the way up to $900 maybe more. If you didn't know, most collection agencies add interest onto the primary balance on a account, which can be settled for 60 cents on a dollar or sometimes even less. What do you think happens with that extra money, where does it go? And how come the company uses their own checks to pay off your debt instead of the credit card your give them. It all just sounds a little strange. Do yourself a favor, and if you're working with this company or will work with this company in the future. Get your credit reports, and figure out the company thats reporting that account on your report. Call the collection agencies after you've done a settlement with this company if you dare. And figure out the original creditors number. Call them, and ask them how much this account was settled for. And compare the amount that was settled on all the accounts to the amount you gave this company. And then you'll probably start wondering why the amounts don't match. Good Luck.
