Renters beware MICHAEL QUILLEN, aka MICHAEL WILDES, aka THOMAS QUILLEN, who also does business as ACE Photography, promotes parties (whitehouseparty13.com), and is a waiter at Bobby's restaurant.
I lost complete month's rent and deposit (more than $1200), when he evacuated the house because he wasn't paying the owner the rent, and it was going up for auction (which he didn't tell us). I was given three days to move.
- didn't disclose the house was in foreclosure (we found out when there was an auction notice on the front door)
- wasn't paying the owner the rent, cashing the roommates checks and keeping the money
- after the auction notice came, informed us that he was moving his valuables out of the house because the owner was coming to collect the money he owed him, and he couldn't guarantee the safety of our belongings
- next day his girlfriend (who owned EVERYTHING in the house),who had had enough, moved out of the house so it was COMPLETELY EMPTY.
- even though the house had nothing in it, wasn't secure, and he had moved out to a different place, he would not give us our rent back (it was only the 7th of the month)
- his reason was that we hadn't given our "thirty days notice" - even though he was the one kicking us out!

BEWARE RENTING FROM THIS GUY.
On an unrelated note he is a horrible photographer.

My name is Ouida! I was Michael Wildes girlfriend! Michael did pay back all the money to everyone of his roommates! I was there to witness the fact they received there $ back! I don't know why this particular roommate, Steve Waters had written these lies about Michael, and about the roommates having to move out in 3 days, Steve & all other roommates moved out on there own, after given a 30-day notice! All the furniture was still in the house before they moved out!
The house did go into forclosure, and we all found out @ the same time!
Michael is an incredible photographer, he took pictures of myself & friends, several times for a professional calendar! They turned out great! + I have seen many wedding photography that he has done!

I am Michael Wildes I did give my roommates all $ money back ($500 deposit + prorated $ money & I have proof by a form of check, on line)
I do not work @ Bobby Mgees or any other restaurant!
On another note; I am an incredible photographer (I have proof, by looking @ my website or viewing my prints!)
This particular roommate had a "Crazy crush" on me & that is the only reason I can think of, why my name is on this report!

I have worked with Michael numerous times professionally and in the course of time, know him personally. Professionally he has been the photographer at many of my shoots and he is upstanding, easy to work with and does quality work.
Personally, I know Michael was unaware of the foreclosure and suffered financially and with losing some personal belongings in the process. He was also stunned by the loss of this place he was in and it was unexpected for him as well. It was his place of work.
Michael has a long history with many good long friendships in the area to give excellent reference for him personally and professionally.
It ills me to see someone for whatever reason try to ruin another out of vengence...we do have a legal system and small claims is there to correct any wrong, if "kelly" feels he is truly being ripped off.
