Mike Rooney aka Mike Moore, is a con artist. He cheated both myself and my niece out of a total of $945.00. My niece and I live in separate apartments in the same building. We each contracted with Mike to do small jobs for us and paid deposits.

Mike claimed he had a "big" job to do but he would finish both our jobs before it started, this was on 3/29/11 paid our deposits he cashed them the next day it is now May 15th, we have never seen him again. First he had a "problem" with a truck, then he had an accident on his "other job" at Anhueser Bush, then he was sick, then he was going to come the next weekend "promise!"

Well, he neither came or called we asked for our deposit back. "Ok I'll bring them by" he texted but did not come. He has said this three or four times. I told him I would accept the supplies he "claimed" he brought, he agreed but never showed up. I texted him that we planned to sue him, he responded that he had sent us a certified letter with money orders that we would get the next day, that was two weeks ago we have yet to get them.

The man is a liar and a cheat. He pretends to be "a church going Christian" but that is just part of the con. When he met with my niece he told her his name was Mike Moore. When he met with me he used Mike Rooney, sadly we didn't discover this until after we had given our deposits.

Shame on you! We tried to be fair with you and work with you but you are just a scammer You cheat the elderly and disabled even though you know we are on fixed incomes! We plan to sue you for thief and fraud! I hope every you cheated sues you!
