Response to a collection letter dated 9/17/2014

Used a modified letter of complaint submitted by FlowrHuntr (THANKYOU) for a similiar situation.
Midland's letter stated we owe money to a loan company. Offered to let us use a pre-approved discount program to "save us money". We could save 40% from the original bill. Original loan account number is invalid for us. We have received NO telephone messages or email from Midland, or anyone else about this so called debt. From the responses on this site- this method is often used by Midland. Completly irresponsible, and should be reported to local athorities.
