This is insane really but from what I have read is not unique.
this company is sueing an elderly woman here in town for non payment of a contract that they will not produce for an an account that she never had and for some "Thing" she has no clue what it could be. The suit is for over 2000.00 and they have not provided any sort of information about whatt his could be. they just say that in 2012 she entered a contract and never paid one cent.
I know for a fact she did not buy anything at all. she has been fortunate to have help with this but they just keep persuing this even though everything has been denied and and have not provided a shread of any proof of this debt they claim she owes. I think they are just hopeing she does not show in court and they will get a judgment for not showing. This law suit is outrageios and has already cost 70.00 just t file the answers. 70.00 to an elderly woman that is on a fixed income. That is more than her grocery bill for a month she tells me.
These people are the scum of the earth. I am hoping the judge will grant the fees paid back when it;s dicovered what they are doing.
