United Legal Investigations Bureau, Midland Marketing Investigation Phone Scam from California - 310-775-9069 Be aware Los Angeles California

I received a voicemail on my work phone after I came back from lunch from an Officer Brian. He went on to continue on my answer machine about how I owed a company by the name of Midland Marketing for a payday loan that was taken out on November 16th, 2007.

I called Office Brian back and I proceeded to try and ask questions concerning this debt. With his thick, foreign heavy accent, he told me he was trying to help me and I wasn't trying to listen. So then in turn put his supervisor on the phone by the name of William Buxton. With the same thick accent he continue to yell and use profanity towards me. He then explain to me that if I didn't show up in court tomorrow he was going to send the cops to my job and I will be arrested for 6 months.

After this horrifying conversation, I was almost in tears and very upset. Everytime I tried to get some sought of information out of him, he would get louder until he eventually hung up on me.

After being in a state of shock, I went to explain the situation to a friend and she tried to call back and get information and he hung up on her. Just to remind you they never answer the phone in a businees like manner, they are rude and no office should ever use profanity towards you or be that rude.

I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision Office and my friend wrote to fox 5 news.

To let you know I never took out a payday loan with this company.
