Midstate Siding & Window Company Windows Priced Too High A BIG RIPOFF I GOT TAKEN FOR A RIDE East Peoria Illinois

This started when I bought my home and knew I needed windows for it. I went to a home show in town to see what would be available. I put my name in their fish bowl to see what would happen.

On March 20th, an employee called at my home and showed me the windows in question that were at the show. Double paned windows with silver film in them to keep too much heat out and keep the place warm.

The price for all 12 windows started out at $15,000.00 and then he kept talking the price down until it got to be $9,352.50, I thought it was a good deal, paid $50.00 down. I was also told by this same employee that day, not to tell anyone how much I paid. Was promised photos would be taken of my home and put in the paper. A few months later, they were put in. Photos were not taken, all I got was a big sign sitting in the front yard.

Fast forward to just recently, I want to sell my home, I went to my real estate agent and told me I had paid too much for the same windows he has. I had paid close to $800.00 per window, when I could have gotten $200.00 per window.

I've got 2 windows that won't lock, I called them and they said they would send someone over.

However, I was not able to speak to a manager, but to a very well versed lady who tried to twist things around. I was always being asked, "Well don't you like your windows?" And "How do you know they paid that much for the same windows?" "Did you see their windows?? Are you sure they're the same quality??" Everything except admitting they did me harm. They took advantage of me and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I'm stuck still paying over $9,000.00 for these windows.

Something needs to be done about them. Please help.
