So I went to this location for a simple oil change. I know the run about them trying to nickel & dime you before you walk out of the store. I politely said no thank you to their offers and sat patiently in the lobby for an hour and a half. Kind of a long wait but they were a little busy so no big deal. 



Here's the part on why I'm writing this report. So the mechanic drops my car off of the lift for an oil change, he hands his report to the Store Manager Matt Flack and he goes on to tell me that "My fluids need to be flushed (mmhmm...), that my ignition was acting up (there is a trick to it I had to show the mechanic actually, no big deal)," ***THEN he went on to say that the top ball joint on my left tire was about to break! 



I asked him what he was talking about and he showed me a picture printed from the company so conveniently. He went on to say that if I'm driving on the highway and that breaks that my truck WILL flip & that my truck is probably not even safe to drive unless I get that fixed. For a whopping $400. WOW, I'm really insecure about the integrity of my truck at this moment! Let me go to my dad who works on a shop on the other side of town and see what his mechanics say.



The ball joints were just fine.



This piece of scum had the audacity to shake my sense of security by saying that my truck will flip if I don't let him fix it, which he went on to tell me he could do it today in about an hour. I understand upsell but there's a line between upselling and extortion.  This is my first report but I plan on letting the corporate offices know as well. I will never give any shop with the name Midus on it my business ever again, hopefully you will not either.
