In my humble opinion we live in a ridiculous time. Absolutely no one is accountable for their actions and anyone who has the audacity to speak out is labeled some kind of bigot or bully. What happened to the days when someone saw constructive criticism about themselves or their business and made an effort to actually change? Well, that, in my opinion happen here, I have been buying odds parts from this dealer in Dublin Ohio so when I needed to check to see if they had some OEM rims I naturally called them. To be fair, they sell perhaps the finest automobiles in the world. They have a beautiful facility and absolutely everybody agrees with that. Unfortunately, they have a terrible reputation in my neck of the woods for very poor customer service.
When I recently called inquiring about rims to put snow tires on, I was not only given the runaround but the attitude from the employees was simply appalling. I left a negative review on Google, that’s it. Look down one paragraph and you will see my original review. I was frustrated when I left it, I was not surprised shortly after when a manager left a lengthy plea for me to contact them as I predicted. The reason I left the review is that I decided never do business with this dealer and exercise my constitutional right of free speech and let others know about my experience. I have no doubt that this dealer has its qualities, I’ve spoken to a salesman at one of their franchises who is perhaps the best and most polished salesperson I have ever dealt with at any dealership.
I made it very clear that I was upset by the subordinates who answer phones and do a poor job representing the company. The reason that this is going on this website is because I am horrified by the response that the owner (it says response from owner on Google) published which was rife with personal attacks, and was patently false and untrue. Below is my original post, scroll down to read the vicious attack on me for the crime of stating my dissatisfaction, and my follow-up. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do business with this dealer, I’m merely stating what my experience was. PS… He/she(?) Actually accused me of not being a real person. (Presumably because no real person would leave a negative review for them)

The reason for my one star review is not because the cars are not excellent but because this dealership is simply awful. Approximately 50% of the time when you call you end up with some rude flunky who is not only unhelpful but all too eager to transfer you to another subordinate who will feign ignorance of your request and offer to have someone call you back. I have never nor will I ever purchase any car from Midwestern Auto Group. I strongly recommend the vehicles that they sell, just not from this dealer. I have no doubt that a manager or owner will respond to my Google response apologizing profusely for the poor experience that I had etc. etc. I don't want your apologies, remove those at your dealership who make the entire brand look bad, that's all you have to do to earn my business and change this rating. Please hurry, I'm holding my breath.
UPDATE: My my my… What personal attacks and sophomoric behavior towards a consumer who did nothing more than expressed displeasure over the way I was treated by the service department. There is nothing fake about me or the reviews that I leave (calling something fake, doesn’t make it not true). When a company does an exceptional job, they get a glowing recommendation. (Please see Mercedes review) When the company is less deserving of a positive review, they receive one. Rather than childishly attacking me over email why don’t you pick up the phone and give me a call? You do know how to speak on the phone, don’t you? Assuming you are not some whiny millennial who only knows how to communicate via text or Facebook I’m sure you’ll have no trouble reaching out to me. People like you don’t intimidate me; you are a coward, very tough on the Internet but no substance.
Despite the fact that in the most ridiculous way you contradict yourself by first accusing me of not being who I said I am and then acknowledge my very existence by being an abusive jerk etc. etc. you still haven’t quite got it right. In fact, you missed the mark completely. I don’t care if you hire or fire more people exactly like those that I’m complaining about. I made it very clear in my original post, I will never do business with your dealership. Therefore, you’re hilarious revocation of my welcome at your dealership is almost funny. We have a Rolls-Royce here in Cleveland, I don’t need to do business with your dealership I wanted to see if you had any OEM ghost rims in stock because my dealer didn’t. Rather than attacking me why not take it up with the person who took my call? After all, they are the one(s) who started this mess. Here’s how I’m going to finish it, I’m going contact Rolls-Royce of North America and for them a copy of your public attack on me for leaving your review on Google. Something tells me they may frown on this sort of behavior.
By the way, my success doesn’t come from luck, it comes from over 20 years of hard work and there is one more thing… your rebuttal is so rife with misrepresentations and outright lies I actually laughed when I saw it. First of all, Dan Miller is a very common name, short for Daniel. Second of all, did it ever occur to you that I own vehicles in one of my company names or in trust?Finally I never demanded that anyone be fired. You said that repeatedly in your rebuttal but I never said it once in my post. I merely suggested that those people not work at the company. Read my post, I never demanded anyone be fired I never bullied anyone, in fact, all I did was express displeasure in the way I was treated. You however have tipped your card a little too far, you’re not the owner of this company I’d be surprised if you are the janitor. The end of your post could literally be removed from the extreme left fake news broadcasts like CNN and cut and paste into your response.

We understand you and your view of life from the many unkind reviews in your profile. However, if you think this response is going to be a mia-culpa with a MAG associates head on a stake for you to take satisfaction from, well it just is not going to read that way. You are leaving fake reviews. We have no record of any Dan Miller from Cleveland or Ohio, your very common name is not in our system, no record of you owning a Rolls-Royce or servicing a Rolls-Royce or any other brand of car we represent at MAG. More over, the many vitriolic, bullying reviews you have in your profile, for every perceived affront to you, leave the impression to us that you are looking to promote something other than the truth when you leave outrageous and untrue reviews.
What is clear is, if an unfortunate staff member you work with at any and all the places you do business, does not treat your narcissistic needs with near telepathic perfection, you demand they be fired, belittle them or bully someone into getting something for the perceived affront to your person. Apparently the workers you encounter in this imperfect world cause you to demean yourself as few if any pay sufficient homage to you. We as a company ask, no we insist that you do not return to MAG, your abusive review and demands for a public firing for your review to be revised are unacceptable attempts at extortion and that will not stand with this organization.
We have never felt compelled to respond to idiotic rampaging we know to be untrue, but your fake review is a disgrace, and your ability to torment and affect the "little people" you encounter in your daily life is simply wrong. Your claim to having money to spend on expensive cars does not make you better than the rest of the world, just luckier, you chose to use your good fortune to belittle and antagonize people, organizations and the world around you, you are a bully with a keyboard, not a real consumer of luxury products with a legitimate complaint.... Midwestern Auto Group has been an organization selling the best European cars in the world for 30+ years and in that time we have never privately or publicly fired a client. You are a first. Do not fake return or actually attempt to do business with any of our 17 franchises... People like you have no place in civilized society.
