like other buisneses that have reported this con artist I was contacted by Dr Mike Cioppa in March 2009, asking me to be a preferred vendor. If you research his name on the internet he claims he co-authored a book with Stephen Covey.

Mike Cioppa is suppose to be a consultant for businesses trying to motivate and retain their employees. Apparently, he has changed professions and recruits businesses to send him checks under the pretext of holding these seminars.

He requested I send fees to cover the costs for 2 seperate conferences to set up my booth. After confirming there was a semiar scheduled and checking him out on the internet, I sent my check.

Since then, the conference was cancelled. Eventually, his girlfirend (Nadia in Vernon, NJ) she said refund checks would be sent. There has been no repsone to  numerous phone calls and e-mails.
