Mike Ford state farm in st george utah doesnt stand by its victims. a couple of years ago my wife was in an accident in a remote part of utah. She ran into a racoon which did significant damage to the car. It was a scary area and my wifes phone didnt work so she drove the car to a bigger city. The engine of the car was damaged beyond repair by her driving it to the larger city, but it was at night, she was alone and she was in the middle of nowhere. state farm wanted her to stay there alone and possibly be raped i guess, they said she should have left the vehicle there.... State farm made me pay for the whole engine... $30,000.... This is a terrible company that doesnt care about its people, they wont cover your expenses in accidents and dont care about their clients one bit. despite that debacle, i stayed with the company. How did they reward me?, by cancelling my car policies... What a bunch of dirtbags. stay away from state farm, especially mike ford state farm in st george utah. Terrible company and people who dont care about you one bit...

The radiator damage was an accident but the engine damage was due to neglect. I presume your insurance policy provides coverage for accidents but not neglect.

the raccoon damaged the radiator. it was leaking. My wife knew the car was damaged somehow, but not to what extent. she was on a remote highway without cell service, a dangerous place. it was a pitch black night during the winter. She discovered that the car was driveable and drove it to safety. State farm said that since the engine wasnt destroyed by the racoon, but by my wife driving the car after the fact they wouldnt cover the engine.. They should have let her drive to safety without punishing her...
i had been with them for 25 years and they still didnt stand by me. I went through a divorce and remarried. state farm wouldnt cover my new wife. She had a couple of accidents on her record that werent her fault, but, of course, state farm still blamed her because they had to pay out some money... I felt like i was a very loyal customer, but they only care about bottom line.. I have to hurry and find coverage because they terminated my coverage..

Did the insurance company believe that a 15-pound raccoon destroyed the engine on a 2-ton vehicle? What part of the engine was damaged by the raccoon?
