Mike Moghimi had up for bid a couple batteries for a laptop. Item number: 190058237356. The picture showed a 11.1volt/5100mAH battery with all five LEDs light when tested indicating a battery with a fdull charge with plenty of life left. I used his "But it now" option and immediately paid via Paypal. I got a couple batteries a few days later. These batteries were 108volt/4200mAH that lit no LEDs when tested after a full charge. No LEDS lit means no usefull life left in the battery. The item description states "Batteries are tested to be in excellent working condition.". The batteries were DOA. I contacted Mike via E-mail asap and he said to send cash with the batteries back to him and he woulsd send more. I asked if he had the right ones in stock and he never answered me. He also said the photo is for stock purposes only and he only goes by description\ and that I assumed I would be getting what was pictured. He also said I don't know what "stock photo" ment. Wouldn't that be a photo of what you have in stock? He left me with very profane and descrimitory negative feedback. I've contacted eBay, Paypal, Squaretrade, IC3, etc. None of them have done anything thus far. I have recieved many vulgar e-mails from Mike with many slurs towards my mother and myself. The general attitude by others towards eBay is buyer beware. I have since learned to use a major creditcard via Paypal. But that dosen't fix the problem. How do we stop these kind of frauds? Why do eBay, Paypal, and Squaretrade refuse to inforce thier own regulations? Is there any legal course of action I can take when the perp live so far away from me?

battery sets for R/C (model) airplanes: NiCad, NiMH, LiPo, etc. You pick the batteries you want used and what type of connectors you need and you get your very reasonably priced custom battery packs in two weeks. I don't know if cheapbatteries builds computer battery sets but the site is very informative about batteries and worth a read. An email to the owner is always answered promptly.

I tried all the polite ways to resolve this problem. All I got was profanity and the like. I have the proof. So why the differance between you and me? Who knows.

I all fairness, I recently purchased two laptop through eBay from this same person. What I got in the mail where two laptops with missing and defective components and with less RAM than advertised.
I e-mailed Mike about the discrepancies with photos and he promply replied and offered to ship me free of charge whatever I asked. And he did just that with a confirmation number too. He never gave me any hassles or negative attitudes. These replacement parts to care of the discrepancies and defects of my two laptops and all was well.
To me it's not so much that you make a mistake, but more IF and HOW you go about resolving the issue. To me that's key. I probably would buy from Mike Moghimi again if I needed to based on his willingness to resolve the problem in my case.
