I go back a few years in my dealings with Mike Pham. About 3 years ago I ran out of work and could no longer afford my truck payment.
I owed more than it was worth so i put it on craigslist to get as much as i could for it and that is when Mike Pham contacted me via email and sent me a copy of the peace of mind contract.
I was very nervous about it and so i took it to an attorney to have them look at it and they seemed to think that i would be protected. He was wrong. However by a fluke Mike accidently forwarded me the contact info for the people he placed the car with. So i got in touch with them right away and had them forward payments directly to my account. At this point i still had no idea that Miike was a fraud.
So they continued paying for my truck over the next year or so and by that time i unfortunatley had got myself into another finacial jam and had to get rid of two more cars that i had bought. At first i thought that i would sell them but seeing how well it was working with my truck i thought i would give it a try with these two vehicles.
All three cars Mike picked up personally, he brought a friend named Rocky Butani one of the times. After he picked up the second and third cars is when the nightmare began. One of my cars he sent down to Pheonix and the other ended up south of San Jose!
One car he gave to someone he used to work with and no payments were ever made to me and then the car was left abandoned and i had to go pick it up. The other car was placed with a young man in Phoenix that seemed cooperative at first but then is when i found out that Mike Pham was a con artist!
Immediatley I called Mike and told him i wanted my cars back and he told me that he was shutting the doors to the company and that i was on my own. I then turned around and notified my bank of the situation and put the vehicles up for voluntary repossesion.
I turned in the vehicle that i had to pick up from San Jose and the Bank picked up the truck from L.A. But the car that went to Phoenix was never recovered and was supposedly returned to Mike. Now the Banks insurance company is trying to hold me liable for the value of the vehicle even though the bank had knowledge of the transaction and even had one of their tellers notarize the contract for the truck that was on the program.
So now I, the one who was in sore straits to start with, am expected to pay for the remaining balance of the two vehicles that were recovered as well as the amount of the vehicle that was not, as if i stole it!!
Just today i was called about paying the money, and my credit is already shot, i could not even get a $5,000.00 loan to pick up a used vehicle.
I have been working with Dennis Young DMV investigations and apparently Mike is soon to be arrested. So far i am not sure what else i can do. Did the small claims court work? Did anyone get any money? Please let me know. I am more than willing to help in getting this all over with!!

Have you looked into filing a bond claim? Does or did this guy have a dealer license? If so, you can contact your local DMV Investigators Office & get the bond info & file it to get your money back.

I too was ripped off by Mike Pham. My car ended up in LV and I had to get it repossessed. I won the small claims case and now I'm having him served to show up in court for him to list his assets. I doubt I will win any money, but I did win the case. I've tried to work with the DMV but they refused to help me. Please give me the contact into of the DMV person you are working with and I will give them info I have. I have his address where he lives.
